BBQ Quick Chicken

Several of my FB friends in the last few weeks have asked for quick and yummy chicken recipes. To which I accepted the challenge as if a contestant on Iron Chefs Mommy's Edition! Ha! Here is my first attempt:

1 bag of chicken thighs -thawed

Note: I typically buy thighs; I dislike greatly how dry breast becomes. I cook the entire bag because I have three boys and a hubby to feed, and also love to have the leftovers for my lunches. You can cook as many as you like.

Garlic powder
Onion powder
Paprika
Salt
Pepper
Barbecue sauce (your fav)

Preheat to 420 degrees

I used two 9x13 Pyrex pans, and separated the thighs evenly into the pans.

I only sprinkled the spices and BBQ sauce on one side but you can do both. Clean up was much easier especially with the BBQ sauce just on the top of the chicken.

Sprinkle/shake as much of each spice above to chicken then add dollops of BBQ sauce on the top of the chicken.

Pan #1

Pan #2

Cook for 30-50 mins. Cook time varies due to thickness and how thawed the meat is. Use a meat thermometer if you are unsure. Temp should be 170 degrees.

Serve with Mac-n-Cheese and greens to create a summer delight on your plate!

Enjoy!!!
