Lavender Muscle Relaxer -Homemade Bath Salts-

I love the idea of having a product to use that will pick-me-up in the morning or afternoon, and one that I can use to calm-me-down in the evening. This bath salt is made without oatmeal, because I'm allergic to it, but you can certainly follow the directions from my Lemongrass Muscle Relaxer if you'd like to add the oatmeal. Lavender:  Lavender's ability to calm and soothe the mind and body continue to be Lavender’s most notable qualities. Lavender is frequently used to soothe skin irritations and help skin recover quickly. Applying Lavender to the back of the neck and temples helps reduce muscle tension. Lemon:   Lemon is a powerful cleansing agent that purifies the air, due to its high limonene content, Lemon is a powerful antioxidant that can help ward off free radicals. Taken internally, Lemon provides cleansing and digestive benefits, can soothe an irritated throat, and supports healthy respiratory function. Recipe:

2 cups of Epsom Salt
1 Cup of Sea Salt
4 Tbs. Baking Soda
10 drops  Lavender
10 drops  Lemon

Optional:
5 drops Blue Food Coloring
5 drops Red Food Coloring  


What You Need:

Food Processor 




Add 2 cup Epsom Salt
Add 1 cup of Sea Salt

Add 4Tbs. Baking Soda

Add 10 drops Lavender

Add 10 drops Lemon

Add 5 drop Red and 5 drops Blue

Pulse 3-5 times till mixed well


Add 2-4 Tbs to a bath 
Enjoy the effect of a great muscle and mind relaxer!
