Robert J Crane has a series out right now called "A Girl in the Box". He has finished book 5 of his 10 book series, and they are excellent. I typically believe a series begins to take a dive after book three...the plots get shaky, the characters start to become uninteresting, and the whole thing becomes way to predictable and boring; however, his do quite the opposite! I couldn't put the books down! Sometimes I was able to predict what was going to happen but most of the time I found myself gasping. His plots stayed as thrilling as a fright filled and exciting roller coaster ride and his character matured with the complexities of real life.
