Parm Crusted Tortillas

Can anything be yummier than cheese and tortillas? Yes! Cheese crusted tortillas! I'm about to teach you a recipe that will take your taste buds on an epic journey of extreme deliciousness.  It has the complex richness of roasted corn, the tangy sharpness of a hearty cheese, the crunch your teeth long for, and the chewiness that completely satisfies. This simple recipe is going to rock your face off!



Parm Crusted Tortillas

Corn Tortillas
Grated Parmesan Cheese




Heat your flat griddle pan over Medium heat
(Pan should be piping hot)


Open your cheese
(Things are going to move pretty quickly from here)
 
 
       Place a few tortillas on the hot pan
 

Immediately sprinkle the tops with some parm


Wait for the parm to start melting
(like so ^ )


.....then flip the tortillas over 
 

Sprinkle the tops with some parm
then flip again once parm starts to melt


Cheese should be golden brown and crispy looking
Remove from heat once the other side has browned
(I pile mine on a warm plate. Do not cover!
 Covering them will trap the steam and moisten them.
You want your tortillas to stay crispy!)
 
Repeat process until you have as many tortillas as your heart desires!
 
 
Fill with taco meat, fresh veggies, sour cream, 
and your favorite hot sauce or salsa. 
Serve with some Spanish rice and let the enjoyment begin!
